homework 29- 06- 09 It is always a great feeling for parents to know that their child has a proper routine and is regular with the homework. However, there are various distractions like the computer and television in most homes which divert children and do not let them concentrate properly when it comes to doing their homework. So, it is the duty of a parent to make sure that their child has a disciplined routine and a settled place which is quiet and free of disturbances of any kind.

The most important homework tips for parents are to be available whenever their children need them. Parents should allow their children to do their work on their own so that they do not become dependent on them for doing their daily task. The bigger assignments should be divided into smaller and easier tasks so that the child does not face any trouble. As a responsible parent, one must keep in touch with the child’s teacher and keep a track on their progress by making sure that they are not overloaded with work.

Parents should set an example for their children. They should show interest in child’s homework and praise him/her for completing their homework. It is the duty of the parents to keep their child organized and for better results relate their homework to their everyday life.

Above all, there should be an environment where the child can have fun as well as learn. Staying involved with the children means they are less likely to get affected by any negative influence. By keeping these tips in mind parents can certainly pave the way for a bright future for their children.

crying_baby Every one of us must have seen babies crying. There is nothing strange or uncommon or for that matter anything wrong about it. The reason being that crying comes naturally to babies and the fact that they cannot speak, they use their cries to communicate to people around them. However, the amount of crying varies in babies. There is an old school of thought which says that crying of the babies should be ignored. However, it may not turn out to be the best advice as this means the immediate needs of the babies will not be looked after and the baby may also feel neglected, which in turn lead the baby to cry more.

Often, in their own happiness, parents forget that how their first child will respond to the new baby to whom his or her parents will love. Parents should know how to help their child adjust to a new baby in the family.

The mere thought of sharing the love of mother and father often makes the first child feel insecure. This is where the parents need to talk to the first child and teach him or her how to behave with the new baby. Not just this, parents should try not to neglect the older baby while loving the new one, as this will inculcate jealousy in the older baby.
