Often the most irritating problem that mothers face with their baby is the problem of their not learning the basics of doing potty. Due to this, mothers prefer wrapping their babies in diapers, which is obviously uncomfortable for the babies when used for a longer duration. So, here are some easy tips of how to give potty training to your baby.

The first and the most widely used method of training babies for excretory processes is singing tunes. Many babies get used to excrete when they hear a certain whistle of tune. Apart from this, mothers can try singing the babies’ praises. Take for instance, the moment your baby sits on the potty seat, praise him or her to encourage him or her to sit there.

Parents can also try reading potty books with their babies till the time they do potty. Using illustrative books with colorful images help a lot in making the baby sit without moving here and there from the potty seat. You can also use a time to remember that it is now time for your baby to go potty.

Sometimes the trick of coloring water also helps, simply dye the toilet water with red or blue food color and show the baby when the color changes to orange or green when he urinates. This method makes the babies learn potty training with fun and ease.
