Parents always desire the best for their children. They give their children just about everything which is in their capacity. However, there is a tendency for parents to struggle when it comes to the food habits of their children. The reason being certain kids are very choosy about what they eat. So, it becomes a challenge for the parents to ensure that their children have a healthy and nutritious meal during the lunchtime. To overcome this difficulty parents can try out new things in the meal which is appealing to their children and keeps them excited at the same time.

Children have a tendency to eat with their hands. So, parents must make sure that they have something which is bite sized for lunch. You can give different shape to the regular peanut butter and jelly sandwich. You can also serve French toast, scrambled eggs, omelets, pancakes and waffles to your children during lunch. Although these are breakfast food, most children would enjoy gulping them down because children always have the silly inclination to try out the wrong things for lunch.

Chopsticks

Sometimes the way you present your lunch can also get your children all excited, although it may just be your routine lunch. You can serve lunch in fun shapes by cubing your lunch with toothpicks and chopsticks. You can arrange fruits, vegetables and cheese in the shape of a smiley and would be amazed to see that your children eat just about anything.

Other creative lunch ideas that you may well consider are peanut butter on crackers with fruit served on the side, fish and chips, chicken and mashed potatoes. Trying out these new ideas for lunch will surely make your children enjoy their lunch to the fullest.
