Before you embark on the shopping trip, consider the child’s age and social readiness for the big move. If your child is just two years old, you can go for a small starter bed. The size of the mattress should be about 1400 x 700 so that the child can use this bed till they grow up to the age of seven or eight. Besides, this type of bed leaves enough space for the kid to play around in the room.

In other words, the advice is to go for least expensive beds considering the bed wetting. Such bed comes with a readily available sprung format with a wipe-clean body and breathable foam head area. This means the problem of cleaning the bed would be very less.

Nowadays beds could be found in different shapes and sizes. Your job would be to check the beds very carefully in case of hardware because this bed would take more abuse then any other bed in the house. So, give the bed a push, bounce on it and check all the possible ways for the bed to fall apart. bed1

Another important thing is to check the foundation of the bed. There are two main types of foundations of bed- the box spring and the wood slats. In the box spring one could increase the height of the bed and adjust the mattress to lie upon. Whereas the wood slats are good for storage, retrieval and cleaning.

Last but not the least, the themes of bed is also important. Different themes could be found in the market. Today online buying of bed has also been made very easy. You can easily go to any particular website and they would help you in all possible ways to buy the first bed for your kid.
