Stranger anxiety is the distress that infants experience when they come into contact with people who are new to them. Babies, generally starts showing sign of stranger anxiety when they are as little as six months old. As babies become older, they start to develop a preference for the people around them depending on their perception of who takes their most care. They start differentiating people and are more comfortable with people whom they are familiar with, generally, the close family members. The stranger anxiety is at its highest level among kids when they are 12-15 months old, it gradually decreases there on. During this period, they would play and let only a selected people hold them.

Babies throwing tantrum is a very common phenomenon and you can consider yourself very lucky if you have a baby who does not throw tantrums. Tantrum is often considered as a means by which babies try to get attention; however, it is not always the case.

Tantrums in babies may be due to several reasons like anger, frustration and the lack of knowledge to react to a particular situation often results in babies throwing tantrums. The frustration may arise due to hunger or thirst or may be when the child is finding it difficult to learn something new.

Toddlers usually throw temper tantrums when they are told no to something as they are not very good at handling it. However, parents can stop these tantrums in their babies by dealing with them correctly and by finding out the reasons which make their babies throw tantrums.

Allergy results in rashes in babies which is intolerable for them and sometimes also causes vomiting and diarrhoea. Babies under the age of 5 are mostly allergic to eggs, milk and peanuts. As a responsible parent we must look for any symptoms that the baby might show due to being allergic to certain food and make sure that they get sensitized to any allergen. Some babies simply don’t like certain food and that does not mean that they are allergic to it. Allergy generally runs down in the family.
