Wetting the bed during night while sleeping often happens when we nap or doze off. This problem of enuresis is generally a hereditary problem that runs in families indicating to a genetic component. On the other hand, it may also be a result of a urinary tract infection, prostate enlargement or diabetes.

One of the exciting and important milestones of parenting is when your child is ready for his or her first big kid bed. This is so because in these early days when kids are so energetic, they grow fast, needs support and lots of comfort. But how do you know when it’s time and what is the best type of bed to buy? The options can be dizzying – bunk bed, trundle bed, bed with rails, twin bed and so on.

Before you embark on the shopping trip, consider the child’s age and social readiness for the big move. If your child is just two years old, you can go for a small starter bed. The size of the mattress should be about 1400 x 700 so that the child can use this bed till they grow up to the age of seven or eight. Besides, this type of bed leaves enough space for the kid to play around in the room.
