This is so because in these early days when kids are so energetic, they grow fast, needs support and lots of comfort. But how do you know when it’s time and what is the best type of bed to buy? The options can be dizzying – bunk bed, trundle bed, bed with rails, twin bed and so on.

Before you embark on the shopping trip, consider the child’s age and social readiness for the big move. If your child is just two years old, you can go for a small starter bed. The size of the mattress should be about 1400 x 700 so that the child can use this bed till they grow up to the age of seven or eight.
