In other words, prior to any formal education, the ideal of preschoolers to estimate quantities is very useful.

You may not know but this ability to identify the quantity is present in us at the time of birth. Moreover, greater precision is required to compare items that are much closer in number. The ability to measure develops more during the school age years but starts even before it.

According to expert doctors, children are blessed with numerical and non numerical cognitive abilities and skills. It was amazing to find the evidence that basic number abilities at such a young age plays a role in formal math achievement. However, some additional studies are required to determine whether these skills are malleable even at an early age.

At the age of three or four, children were asked to judge between two sets of objects and differentiate between blue and red crayons and they were successful. Such is the sharpness of their mind.

It is always difficult as a parent to decide on whether or not to send your kid to boarding school. The thing to be kept in mind while taking a decision is that, whether the boarding school is right for your kid, will he/she thrive in it. For this you need to understand the basic differences between two types of boarding schools: therapeutic and traditional.

Traditional boarding schools can be a viable option for those children who are motivated to learn and no extra effort is required to motivate them. These schools sometime have specific focus towards certain subjects. On the other hand, a therapeutic school is ideal for those children who have behavior issues, like disturbing the class or skipping school. Most of these schools conduct regular classes like any other school but they have special sessions for children who have such problems and help them deal with their emotions.

However, one must understand that there is a huge difference between a military school and therapeutic school. In a military school a child’s attitude is changed through discipline and rigid rules. One the other hand, a therapeutic school looks at helping the child have better control over his emotions and nurture them with teaching rather than rules. The only thing that remains same is that both the types of school have professionals dealing with the children.

The best thing about boarding schools is that most of these schools challenge the students more in terms of education as compared to traditional schools. Many colleges and institutes take consider boarding school children over others.

So, it is important that parents take into consideration the various aspects and then figure out whether boarding school will be right for their kid.

You want to see your baby learn how to sit in a school and learn school etiquettes? Then, you need to choose a Pre-School, now don’t bother yourself thinking how to choose a pre-school for your child. As, we will present you with some ways of choosing an ideal pre-school.

While choosing a pre school for your child of 3 to 5 years of age, determine your family needs and that whether you need a full time of part time pre school. The second thing worth taking into account is to decide whether you want to have a school close to home or office.

It is more important for a child to get accustomed with a new situation and environment of the school for the first time. If the child is getting transferred from one school to another then it becomes little easier for a child to cope up. As in comparison to first school goers, these children are friendlier by nature and familiar with school concept.

But while it is for the first time to the school, then parents should take initiative to make your child comfortable with the pros and cons of the school. They should be little more sensible to make their child understand about the importance and fun of school.

They should share their own school experiences with their child. Sometimes before going to school, they can pass by the school in order to let their child know that he/she is going to come here for better education and more enjoyment.

Thus, making your child familiar with the essence of school and helping to overcome jitter of school-going kids is one of the most important tasks of parents.
