First of all, have a love approach while dealing with your teenage kids. Don’t try to be too harsh with them, else they will never listen to you, no matter how wise you are. Show them that you support them and are there for them.

Try to be not a strict guardian but a friendly parent to your teenagers, so that can freely share whatever is happening in their life with you. Be it love or new friends, the relationship you should have with your teenagers should be such, that they feel like telling you everything.

Be a good listener and listen to their needs even if they are irrelevant needs. Afterwards, tell them the pros and cons of that thing to clear up their mind. Don’t ever give boring lectures to kids especially teenagers, as they simply hate it.
