There can be a number of reason for a child to not socialize with other children of their agegroup. The foremost thing to do in such case is to speak with the child to know the cause for such behavior.

If that doesn’t solve the problem, try to speak with the teachers of your child at school. They may be able to give you a concrete reason, which might be keeping your child away from company of friends. It might so happen that an incident in school might led your child withdrawn from their peergroup. In that case you can try to resolve it.

So, how do mothers know if the child is having enough? You cannot know for certain how much milk the baby has drank but over a period of time you will definitely know if your baby has had enough to drink. If the baby is gaining enough weight then you can make out that it is being fed well.
